All Myora Durocs are fixed for the IGF2 gene, which results in a higher percentage of saleable meat, reduced back fat thickness and improved carcass uniformity.
DNA testing and selection has enabled the Myora terminal line to carry genetic resistance to F4 (K88) E.coli gene ensuring all progeny benefit from improved piglet health.
